i believe the MazdaSpeed Protege also uses T28. the potential Cavalier/Sunfire will also use T28 when and if they come out or GM builds them. about your TT setup, which exhaust runners go together? 1 and 4, 2 and 3 our 1 and 3, 2 and 4

i duno why anyone would think about putting a t25 on the ka motor..it already has sufficient torque in the low to mid range. The only reason why i turbo'd my car is to get the top-end power that the motor lacks...

Car: anything with wheels, and somethings without.

mikemurphy....

Is that a veilside kit on your car? What kind of wing is that? I really like the way it turned out.

The reason manufacturers use small turbo's is primarily for streetable response. Pretty much every factory turbo is something a tuner would consider too small for the engine. Look at the buick GN and the Z31. Big engines, but they both use T3's. Same with the SRT-4 and it's T28. These small turbo's choke the top end and result in an engine that makes way more torque than it does HP. In other words, they fall flat on their face after 5k. T25 is a bad idea for a KA even for low boost. Go at least for a T3.

streetability is, im assuming, what the majority of us want. at least thats what i want. the 170+ usable torque sounds pretty good. u wouldnt even need to get up in the high revs to pass on freeways and all that. well i guess the automatics will benefit from all that torque. i would guess the t-25 thing is like a stepping stone to the T-3. learn as u go.

A bigger turbo will allow the motor to breath easier and produce a cooler intake charge allowing for more hp less detonation.

Run a T-3 Super-60 at minimum : )

Which is pretty close to an 85 z31 turbo if i AINT mistaken.

I dont like the charatoristics of a t25 on a 2.0 dsm, or an sr20...let alone a ka with much more exhuast pulse to expel. I would thnk that a z31 turbo would spool just as fast, and have better top-end to boot.
