why was the daughterboard destroyed? they come off then you remove the 40 pin header. With a sucker if you plan to reuse the ecu(tape works somewhat) or compressed air if you dgaf about the ecu..

so you are doing 7psi on stock maf and injectors? plug gap?

i used a sucker but the chips in the DB were almost definitely fried, and Jason offered me a good deal on a new DB and tune so i decided to stop fighting with my solder sucker and just cut the DB off of the pins with a dremal tool, admittedly a bad idea but it turned out well. after the board was out i removed the left over solder traces with my iron tip one at a time (left the header in the ecu to make it easier to instal the new DB and lessen the chance of damaging the ecu it self). but now it purs like a kitten.
