If you're on pump gas, I wouldn't run 20 psi every day, especially in the summer. KA's aren't very detonation resistant motors, and we don't have a very good knock detection system like other cars, such as EVOs do. Even with a built motor, I'd keep it under 17-18.

Also, BC cams tend to have lots of negative overlap when used with stock cam gears. Like... 20-30 degrees of negative overlap. If you can get some gears and degree them, there is definitely power to be gained. One guy on ka-t.org picked up a ton of power just from degreeing his BC 264 cams. Username was Bonomoskat.

Congrats on getting it running!

I'm getting one for my CA. Although my intentions for it are some stupid things, like insanely high revs and gangster high boost with a bottle in the trunk, that and probably going to move to a billet Precision 6262

I did the same for my CA and never had an issue. Just idled a little low (4-500) in the winter when it was first started and then a little high, around 11-1200 once warm (in the winter). Usually hovered around 900 when I set in June of coarse
