ka-e to ka-de swap problems

Car: 1990 Nissan 240sx

Having problems not sure if i need a new coil and ignitor, vacuum problems, wiring, new dist cap and rotor..... I am not working on it but a shop is and they suck so my dad and I will probably be working on it soon someone please help on any possibilities.... i have a 1990 s13 and the motor is either a 92 or 93

So put some SOHC pistons in that DOHC motor, look for Didderson's posts about it.

Also, your father is ignorant of turbo cars. They aren't all super fast or anything, just fun on the freeway...

yeah just make sure u set the timing better than him i warned him and now the ka is dead and i'm gonna be helping to swap his sr in

im gettin ready to put sohc piston in my de my self, with the e pistons in the de will the timing be different if so explain sorry for the thread jack

i'll check but iirc set the timing to 17, didderson set his at 23 i think and it died
