Is it Possible to put a KA24DE head on a KA24E block? What needs to be changed out besides the head?

I ask this because I have 3 KA24DE full engines in my garage and I wanted to do something with them.

Please post info.

ok, i stand corrected. sorry for accidentally posting misinformation.

The last that i read on the subject was that the water jackets did not line up, and there was an argument that the block from a hardbody pickup would work with the DOHC head, or something like that, but it just seemed like nonsense jibber jabber to me.

lets keep this friendly, Ill keep that in mind Altiman ;)
