K & N airfilters

There is a lot of controversy (sp?) as to wether or not the oil on a K&N will actually flow far enough into the intake to ruin your MAF. It is a proven fact that the oil will foul the element, but I think you would have to over oil it a lot, in order to suck the oil in that far. Personally, I won't have the worry, or the pain of oiling a filter and having to wait 4 hours to drive. Dryflow, wash, rinse, shake water out, leave in sun for 10-20 min, reinstall and drive.
