Hey guys, im new to this forum and have been a fan of nissan motors from the time i knew myself.
so i bought a project an 89 gmc s15 2.5 couple months back just bcuz i couldn't find a d21 but, im not a fan of american engines  . im a little stuck on c deciding between vq30de or vg30de i kno that they would fit bcuz the chevy guys put v8s in these trucks all the time and ive seen some people have rb's in these trucks. i know i might run into a problem with the wiring and probably the rear-end but i have time to play with. also im wondering if any of you guys or girls could help on the decision and any bulid tips if possibly. thank you guy in advance

Cool project. I think your best bet would be the VG30 from a Hardbody... Datsun guys put them in 510s and 620s all the time.

Make sure you get the trans and engine harness - Should be pretty simple from there. You'll have to have the driveshaft adapted, but that's no big deal. Gonna be a sweet truck!

How about a VG33e. You can find them at most salvage yards.
