I checked up on this just want to make sure 100%. So my second gear is gone on my transmission, now its hard to find a ca transmission so i looked around and saw you can use KA gears in the CA18DET bellhousing. Just making sure this is correct and would there be any diferant in the gearing at all?

mmm im sure they are all the same. My freinds SR transmission took a crap, so we found a KA transmission and i swaped the bell housing and its working great now with no problemes. Basically their gear casings are all the same. Gearing are a weeny tiny bit diferent but not much. Its really not even noticeable.

the only difference between the SR, KA, and CA trans are the bell housing. the gearing is every so slightly different but nothing you will ever notice.

Yeah I read somewhere that you can even use the transmission out of some 2wd nissan trucks, but it was on the internet so I don't know if I believe it. Just use any old 240sx transmission.
