Hey i'm not new to nico, but i've only had my ca18det swap for a few months. I rarely post on nico but browse often. Any questions, just ask, mods in signature .

yeah, welcome. I see you on 240sxforums... but I like to stay here. My name on there is boostedS13, which USED to be my name on here until I lost all my login info and abandoned my email address I registered with.

yeah i hear ya i hadn't posted over here because i had lost my login too and forgot which email account i registered with. I figure most people on here are on 240sxforums as well. But just figured i'd reintroduce myself

whats that split dealy on the cold pipe before the TB?

It's to recirculate your BOV. That is an S14/S15 cold pipe.

You sure? That doesn't really make sense. It would have to dump the air into the intake between the MAF and turbo. Otherwise you would just be moving the pressurized air out the BOV and back into the cold pipe...which is pressurized.

that's where the bov goes on the s14 greddy ic kit that i had to use for my s13 with ca. Normally you weld the bov flange on there but we just welded it up.

I'm fairly certain that split pipe near the TB is for the idle air hose (prolly not the correct name) to connect to. Like c-rad says, it makes no sense to recirc a bov right back into the i/c piping. BOV recirc piping would go into the intake piping upstream of the MAF.

Edit: ahh, I see, that's to mount the BOV, not to recirc it to. my mistkake I guess the idle pipe is down on the other side of the cold pipe?
