im doin the tt swap and ive been doin my homework...for rods and pistons ive been leaning towards je forged pistons. and as far as the rods go im stuck there...im havin a hard time decidng between carillo or eagle. or if you got somethin better let me know. thanks foe time and input....much appreciated.

fwiw...stock TT rods are super strong. Your money will be better spent elsewhere.

What kind of power are you aiming/building for?

500hp+ is what im aiming for in this build. and i know that the stock rods are pretty strong but i dont think they'll do that well with that much power. but like i said...im still doin research.

Stock internals are good for 600hp IIRC.

I've got stock rods with oversized Wiseco pistons and have had my setup for 6+ years and I'm north of that HP number with zero problems. The weak point of the stock bottom end is the pistons, not the rods.

2nd, stock rods are just fine for that power level.

whats your bore at? cuz thats another thing im trying to decide on. and i guess im gonna go ahead and stick with the stock rods. and is weisco your preference? and whats the best rings to go with?
