A couple weeks ago my friend's Dad hit my front end while backing up. I got an estimate of $1300 for repairs and was planning on taking my car in Monday to have it worked on.

Today on the 57N during stop and go traffic some guy in a beat up old Toyota truck rear ends me in the carpool lane (carpool was stop and go as well) My bumper flexes a bit when I pull on the bottom section but I don't know if it had always done that, it seems like it shouldn't though.

I have a minor scratch on both tail lights and that little lip near the trunk release button (on the trunk) kind of snapped apart today when I came home. Not sure if that's just wear and tear and coincidently happened today or what but the body seems straight I don't think it folded or anything.

lol dont worry itll get fixed and ur luck will get better.....did this go onto a police report.....or are u guys settling out of insurance......also just get the ed rear now or wait and get the ait rear....especially if ull need a new trunk.....go crazy and get new parts at his expense, itll cost around the same price

I don't like the ED rear and I don't know if I want to wait until the AIT rear comes out. I might get the carbon fiber trunk I have been looking forward to it.

No police report I just got all of his insurance information down, calling the insurance company up again today. I didn't get my car fixed (front) yet I wanted to wait until after this Saturday because I need to pick up my cousin from the airport and I didn't know exactly how long my car needed to be in the shop

No, There is no real visible damage, I'm actually not sure if he damaged my car at all besides the little scuff.

I mean I can take a video to show you guys how my bumper is a little loose but that's about all there is to look at

91 is worse IMO... E or W... Had so many close calls on that freeway... I avoid it @ all costs... I'll take the streets and take an extra 30-45 min to get where I'm going just to avoid it...

I used to do the same thing when I was home. But for me the worst freeway is the 5 in between buena park and Downey where it bottlenecks

How bout we all agree that almost all of SoCal freeways in the LA Metro/OC/San Gabriel Valley/Inland Empire are bad in general. But I love SoCal, so I guess it's one of the things we have to deal w/ living here.

On a side note, it took me longer to get home than it did to get my tat done today...

Anyways, I don't mind the 57N unless it's between 3pm-8pm and I actually like the 91 a lot (I cruise it sometimes at night when I'm bored. But the 5 North at anytime of the day on any day sucks a hard one.

Funny story. Me and my friend were going West on the 91 at about 3am one morning, I wanted to turn around and head back home so I got off the freeway and realized we were in Compton I drove down the block blastin Eazy E just for kicks and what do we see but some crazy arse crack head (probably) washing his car at the power wash at 3am (wait for it, wait for it) ...While it's raining.
