Bought it tonight and drove it home on a dealer plate (i work at the dealership that i bought it from). I am pumped, this car is a huge step up from the mazda 3i that i was previously in, the engine is spectacular compared to the mazda's the handling and body roll isnt nearly as bad as expected, i love the seats, i love the look, i love the stereo, i love it all. sorry that im so giddy, im just very excited. Now does anyone no about aftermarket fitment on the 2010 versus the 07-09, if there are any problems or if it all fits?. oh and as far as the specifics go it is brilliant silver and does not have the sunroof/stereo/lsd package.

Depends what you are looking at fitting. (You work at a dealer... ask your aftermarket guy lol)... At any rate. Cold air should be fine. Nothing has changed since 07 for the B16 intake system, but you will void your warrantly on your box but who cares. Dont bother with exaust, the only way you get any gain for sounds and performance is with custom bend and its not worth the time or money to do that. Since last year the SE-R has come with a 2.5" and a decent res so its got a nice tune to it as it is. Other than that there isnt muc for Mods you can do aside from drop and wheels which are obviously the same cause Nissan hasnt changed that stuff in any model for years now.

Hopefully that helps. Hit me with questions if you want.

that does help, thanks. we have only been a nissan dealer for 2 months (previously cadillac, victim of the dealership closings) and we are all new to the brand. I would not do exhaust unless it had good gains cause as you mentioned it already has a sporty tune to it, but i will probably do an injen intake so long as i can hide it from the service manager, drop and wheels will come after winter, not looking to do much besides that for now. Thanks again.

It depends on what the muffler and resonator design is. Also, some catbacks reduce the number of bends in the piping (though this may not apply to B16s).

I sincerely doubt the stock resonator and muffler are straight-through type designs, so there are gains to be had, just not huge ones (but catbacks alone never are worth huge gains).

That said, I'd do as much research as I could as to how much of a pain your dealer is about mods and warranty before I did anything to it.

Congrats! I am considering buying a 2010 Spec V in the next couple of months. Can you tell me if they still have the red stitching and red seat belts? The Nissan website does not elaborate on this.

No it no longer has the red seatbelts for 2010 other changes are gray instead of silver rims and a new headunit for the stereo which is designed for a rear view camera

Great! The red seatbelts seemed to be too gimmicky... I'm glad that my Spec V won't have them when i buy it
