Just bought my S13 240! Woot!

As the subject says, I just bought my 240.

It's a 93 H/B, huter green, SE w/ vlsd, super hicas, and ABS.

I have a couple of q's though.

1. There is a low pitched 'wine' coming from the engine. The timing chain is quite, this is something else. It's pretty constant...you can hear it throughout the entire rev range and at idle. I'm not quite sure what to make of it. The motor feels strong though, soooo any ideas?

2. How does one go about completely removing Hicas? I don't want just the eliminator bar...I want it (and all added p/s lines) completely removed. What parts will I need or have to change?

I also wanted to mention...this is a canadian model! Is there anything different that I should know about? One thing I though was cool is that it doesn't have those electric seatbelts...they are fixed. Also, the color (hunter green); I've never seen it before. It it a Canadian only color?

speedo is in kilometer not miles and you should have driving lights underneath your turn signals that are on all the time if your head lights are off. american 240sx don't have these. And i think our bumper regulations are differnet in canada so your bumper maybe slightly differnt. and about the hunter green not to sure i have seen a few green ones up here but never saw one in the states yet but of course I'm not down there all the time. oh and your odometer is in KILOMETER'S aswell So you actually have lessmiles then you think. IE 140,000 kilomaters is more like 100,000 miles or something like that.

oh and hicas removal is a ***** apparently

to fully remove HICAS you need to do something like replace the entire subframe with one of a non HICAS equipped car. sounds like quite a difficult task.
