welcome aboard

sounds like the suspension is gone bro. just replace it. if it is the same as a 95-99 maxima, i can hook you up on a tokico illumina full suspension kit. just let me know. otherwise, how many miles does it have on it? you might be due for some new o2 sensors.

Tibbs is correct again... Suspension is shot. I suggest Eibach springs and Tokico Illumina struts. The cost is close to the replacements from the dealership. You can budget suspension at Autozone, but you get what you pay for.

great...let me know....this is my first Infinity and have no knowledge as to Infinity parts....been a caddy enthusiast for 20 yrs....My first import in 20 yrs.... I plan on getting it back in good condition... its dark green with tan interior, bose sound system but display is out.... engine still has lots of guts, it has 175,000 miles... no oil leaks but the valve covers have a light oil mist buildup just below the gaskets... I did notice a slight pull to the left during acceleration and just as the automatic trans shifts gear.... I'm not sure if that is normal or not? I was looking for a rt front fender to replace the dented one, the paint job is still good but the car has ben keyed on the right side and need to get the color code for repainting. I have no idea as to what model it is or how to identify it. any help is as alway appreciated greatly. Thanks for hookin me upBishopxm

Well, you chose a great car. The pull is what us Nissan/Infiniti owners call "torque steer". It's a pretty torquey engine, and has a tendencie to do that. Check some of our sponsor advertisers to get a great deal on that fender.

Hey Bean.... Do you know of the best way to familiarize myself with this car.... I am a novice and need to find out all about the 1996 Infinity I30.... How do I go about identifing it so I can purchase parts and accessories.... its a 1996 I30, 4 door, black emerald exterior paint, tan interior, V6 3000 DOHC,automaitic w/overdrive... I had found a place on the net that had a rt front fender for $134.95 but I forgot to book mark it, and I haven't been able to locate that website again.... I just had a chance to open it up on the road and it screem....holds the road real well.... I did notice a shimmy from 63 to about 74 MPH but then gets smooth over that speed. I LOVE IT!!! any help get books and manuals on maintaining it and boosting performance and looks are as always very much apprieciated...

thanks BishopXM
