Just a thought>>2JZ

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

yes you can; make your own mount. put in a bit of time, it not thing much to it. it's just a stock ka crossmember with slotted block welded on.

I'm guessing someone saw the article on the 240 powered by the S2K engine. . .

It wasn't my cup of tea. . .

I actually took it in the bathroom of walmart with me to read.

I began to shove the article into the toilet, but then was stopped. I didn't feel like explaining why the toilet was backed up.

But like I said, I guess it is cool, but not really power savvy IMO. . .

Its cool in the sense someone actually felt like doing something different. Something you or I would never do, not because its honda, but because its tough.

It took some pretty bright fellows to do that, and I'm not going to knock them for there creativity. . .+1 for that.

-3454359345930 for wasting the car to do it with tho. . .

although the rotary is the sh1t, the engine in the cx7/9 and mazdaspeed 3 and 6 are awesome

the s2k motor took up so much room in the miata's bay there was no room fro heeadlight motors. the lights were always down iirc and they used the lends under the head lights to put in hids or something bright enough to work

Listen..with no need to explain.. This build of a 2JZ in an S14 is one the best well round builds thats out there.. I mean pound for pund..parts/money/end result.. sorry 2 say but besides the LS1 build the 2jz swap is the best swap out there.. I can get parts HERE.. easy @ a dealer, dont have to wait or look for parts. I mean u can get sr parts, but not without some serious searching if new 2 sr's, and face it.. and rb is gonna run u some MONEY.. more so then a 2JZ..plus y build an sr or a Ka-T which BTW is so superior, when u can have upwards of 800 horse.. plus dont know about u guys but I want my RB in a skyline with AWD.. str8 sexes are THE strongest motors. and face it...we all know the reputation about a 2JZ.. soo for those of you who say,, ur a traider,, or sell out.. ILL see you @ that light..Only owned nisssan my entire life,, Nissan 4 LIFE..

um yeah cept rb25 is a straight six lol and the engine itself and all mounts and what not are cheaper and um ohhhhh thats right its a hell of a lot eazsier build for about the same power along with the fact the transmission is nigh undestructible

Wow...Just wow. Start doing the swap, you'll see how much "cheaper" it is compared to an RB swap.

The RB will run a decent price, but it won't run as high as the 2jz.

The 2jz is mainly a baller's swap,not a budget swap.

2jz is a nices swap with the intak and exhaust being on the opisit side compared to an rb. but you can pick 2jz motors up way cheaper then you cna pick up an rb. and plus the 2jz is a 3 liter.
