Does the KA (SOHC) transmission fit into the CA18? If so, what's the work involved? Is it like the SR where you just swap the bellhousings? If it's too much work and not worth it, I'll just use a CA transmission. I was just thinkin of using the KA beacuse I know 5th gear is a little taller therefore being a little better for highway driving.

No flaming please, I searched.

No I did not get a swap yet. I'm still debating on what I want to do with the engine: KA-T, SR, CA? I guess I'll know by the time I save up the $ for it. I just turned 15 so I've got some time.

And yeah, I'm on az240sx. My sn is 89two4Tsx. Original huh?

If you want to see my car, it's in the new members section under "new here".

Btw, thanks for the help and quick responces guys, really appreciate it.

Why ? They fit on sr20det and sr20det one fit on ca18det ? It is not just a bellhousing swap ?

Sorry it does fit but its really not worth the hassle of everything that you have to do to make it fit.
