Jerking Transmission?

Hi guys!

Posting for my mother who has a 2012 Nissan Rogue with 49k miles on it. She bought it new and is having transmission issues whereas it will randomly jerk as if it loses power for a split second. Seems to happen at higher speeds (60-70mph) on the highway and is very random. She took it to the dealer and they could not recreate the problem and there are no trans or engine lights. $90 down the drain for diagnostic fees with no fix.

Has anyone else experienced this problem or know where to start? I'm good with cars, but CVT is a whole new beast of which I know nothing.

in the diagnostic paperwork did they give a reading of how much "life" is left on the transmission fluid? If not you may want to ask why they didn't and if they would provide it.
