JDM Skyline R34 Shift Knob

I recently purchased an R34 JDM Skyline shift knob, assuming that it should fit right into my car(95 240sx se). However, it did not thread up. Does anybody know if it will thread up to an aftermarket shifter, such as a C's, (which I had in mind anyway), and if not, what will it thread up to?

C's have an OE thread pitch, along with OBX/Pilot. Probably can try to buy an insert for the knob, then force thread it on.

dont change the shifter knob on your 240. it's weighted to give you smooth shifts
