Are both axles supposed to have clips, getting ready to swap in a jdm vlsd and switch from 6 to 5 bolt axles, just going over everything to make sure the install goes smooth.

So I ran into the same question, The short shaft had the clip on it, but it looked like the other clip was in the diff.I put a KAZZ 2way in from a diff I bought off of a japanese guy. but I was trying to use my stock 6 bolt half shafts and the groove dose not seem to line up the same. without the clip in one side will just slide in and out.
