Bob, over at Versaspeed.com, was able to finally get a pair imported. But at a cost.

Here is what he said.

As I was afraid, the headlamps need a different wiring harness.......BUT, we are working on that.........so I don't know how much longer that will take because we are going to use the harness from one of the Nissan/Infiniti that use HID's because they are all the same set up.....so we'll see what happens.

They were imported so don't worry about seeing them anytime soon for sale in the states. And as for the price, the pair might set you back over $1,000

These Headlamp Assy. are from Nissan Japan direct and yes they are expensive.....around seven hundred dollars a piece!!! As with most things "you get what you pay for" especially now a days. They fit perfect.....just the electrical is not even close to being the same so we are working on that as I post this.The cost is high but the overall design and workmanship is second to none as you can see in the pictures.Thanks to Code Red for posting these pictures along with the CF hood/hatch pictures. Forgot to mention that these are like Lexus/BMW headlamps as they have a "self leveling" system built into them.....real nice.

I'm from Brazil and just registered to the forum.

Don't even own my Versa (it's called Tiida here) yet but will be getting it till end of year and am already reasearching into HID.

Just my 2 cents worth... I've checked the german nissan website just now and they offer Xenon as an option. Maybe getting them imported from Europe would be the way to go? since they would be suited for LHDs.

Bob, any news on the wiring harness yet? I'm keen to make this mod when I buy my Tiida.

But met a discussion of prices in here and "Europe headlights"

Even if not taking in mind that Tiida don't have the 2d turn-lamp in headlight (we've got in upper the front wheels) the original xenon headlights cost enormous amount:26060EM00B (left one) - 1300$(lowest price) - 1600$(dealer price) + something (not less than 300-500$) for work (it's for today exchange rate USD-Rubls)26010EM00B (right one) - exactly the same thing.

So...3500+ for headlinghts ...kinda weird)
