JDM G35 Right Hand Side Battery Cover install??

Hey Everyone....Just wanted to see if anyone had any advice on installing the right side battery panel for a 04 G35 Coupe. I purchased this from GRUBBS Performance, but can’t seem to get the hood to close. Is there something I’m missing?? The battery panel seems to be taller than the other side...causing the hood not to close. Any help would be great!!!

If you have any pics it might help us to help you. It might be good to know what part is hitting the hood.

Hope I didn't jump the gun, but I ended up having to Mod the Mod. Used a Dremel tool to cut the front edge of the battery cover. Found a site that sold them precut and here is the end result....
