J30 ecu
I have used the search. i have a 97 infiniti J30. does the ecu still gives codes even though the check engine light isnt on? Do they sometimes work independent of each other? At ___Zone they put this scanner under my steering wheel one time when the light was on, Is that the ecu there tapping into. i need detailed instructions on how to access the ecu. and also i need a FSM for a 97 J30 thanks.

ya know i was wondering why no one has replied to my post and i thought, it couldnt be because no one hasnt any knowledge about it. then i thought Maybe its b/c some people here feel like this is not an important enough topic to comment on. No im sure thats not the case. I think that some people here need to realize that just b/c you have a search engine here doesnt mean that it answers all questions and even if it does that doesnt mean someone didnt try to find what they were looking for, sometimes it just a matter of wording. EX: FSM - Factory Service Manual. now granted i eventually found information about the FSM but my other questions i couldnt find what i needed to know. Now if you all cant answer my questions then thats one thing but im sure somebody knows. Lets keep in mind there will be others like myself who dont know that much about cars but are trying to learn, that will visit this place and i think its wrong to snub people b/c they arent as knowledgeable as some of you are. this site is to help people. and another thing i havent found clear cut answers to some of my question when i searched. So why are some of you so upset about having to answer what you perceive as a common question. All qestions about these cars are common, theres nothing new anymore about what to fix or how to do it.
