yea, the MAF wires don't rub against my hood.. it sits just perfect.. =)

Does the injen intake come with that heat shield? I am debating which one to order and so far I am thinking of ordering the Injen. The heat shield is a plus as it appears to be made of fiberglass or plastic which has a low thermal conductivity. Add a little bit of of adhesive gold foil and you have a decent heat shield!

yes, that's a Injen that I have installed. and as you can see around the filter, it had a heat shield.

Yea I see the heat shield . I was asking if the intake came with it...or if you made it yourself...?

Nevermind...i just re-read your reply and see that it came with it. Is the shield made out of fiberglass or aluminum?
