from my previous post when i tried to start the car some smoke came up from the corner were the battery is. I thought it might be a dropping resistor. So I changed it out with one from my friends other ca and what do you know it goes up in smoke also. I dont know why this is happening. I have read were people dont even have these plugged in and there car is running great. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. thanks. I need to get this car back on the road very quick. thanks agian.

You obviously have an issue with the way you wire the harness connectors near the battery. Please double check your connections and wiring carefully or the next time it will be your ecu and this I promise.

might be a good idea to track down where all the ecu harness connections near the battery connect to the main harness, and tell us what on which connector is what on the ECU side.. you've liekly got that screwed up.. either that or something in the ECU harness itself.

ok ill look at that. The wierd thing is the car drove just fine for the past 2 months and when i did the front main seal this happened. ?

Did you mess with the alternator at all when you did the front main seal?
