NO removing that plastic petal stop will not make your car faster.The real petal stop is apart of the throttle body its self.To test this have someone push the petal to the floor with the engine turned OFF and with it pressed all the way down. Go check for play in the throttle cable and push on the butterfly were the cable connects to the throttle body.
