Is the KA24DE a 'zero tolerance' motor? COULD the valves hit the piston?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Alright guys, i was wondering if the KA24DE is a zero tolerance motor, and by that I mean: If a valve was all the way down, and you turned the motor over, would the piston hit the valve?

Trying to diagnose if i have a bent valve from incorrect timing.

Any ways to test for bent valves without taking the head off?

oh they can.

But in my case, they didn't bend.

I broke 4 heads off and smashed the cylinder block up so bad it would make a machinist sweat
