Ok guys something wasn't adding up. I've had my car for a few months now but i never really did anything with it before it went into storage for winter and I just realized something today. First off its a Canadian version, so that may explain some of it. But it's got the SE badge on the back, got the clarion sound system, got the A/C and the cruise control, but has 15's and it's a 4 lug. From everything i've read the '95 SE's have 16in wheels and are 5 lugs 5x114.3. So am i missing something? Is my car really a SE, or did someone just put the badge on? Or is it that the Canadian SE doesn't have the 5 lugs and the 16's?

Any help would be appreciated...

I think some of the SEs have 4-lug alloys as opposed to the 5-lugs. Not sure though.

Hey man i'm on the other side, Newfoundland.....

So it may very well be a SE, well it still sucks that its a 4 lug. It's soo much easier to find 17x9.5 in 5 lug....

whats the bolt pattern on the 4 lug?

hey redline, luckily, the original owners of my car kept all of the info and stuff for my car so i'll try and list everything that is standard ONLY on the SE models for the '95 240sx. . .

SE- 16" aluminum alloy wheels- Halogen fog lamps- Color -keyed front and rear body-color cpoilers- Sporty moquette cloth seat trim- 2-speed plus variable intermittent windshield wipers- White-faced analog-style guages with reverse-to-electroluminescent lightning- Security system-Keyless remote locking/unlocking, anti-theft, panic alarm and remote alarm

STD- 15" styled steel wheels with full wheel covers- Moquette cloth seat trim- 2-speed plus fixed intermittent windshield wipers- Electronically tuned AM/FM/cassette stereo audio system with dolby noise reduction with 4 speakers

These are the only things that would only be found on the SE or STD cars. Now that i think about it, I could have scanned it in but oh well. Hope that helps. :)

I too have the 95 SE. It had a Se badge on the back and carfax also recognized it as a SE.

Since yours is a Canadian version, you will only get 15" 4 lugs. Only the LE comes with 5lug 16".

So the canadian LE has the 5 lugs and the canadian SE has 4 lugs.....

It's weird cause going by what kami240sx posted mine is some weird hybrid, lol. I have the guages, 6 speaker system, but no fog lights....don't know about the wipers cause they don't work, and don't know if i have the alarm or remote keyless entry (how do i know?).....but no spoiler....so i don't really know what exactly to think.....is the LE above the SE? i always thought the SE was the top one...

The LE only comes in automatic, therefore it must be inferior to the SE :)

just btw, i'm not sure about canada but LE models were only availiable to the '97 and '98 year 240's'95 and '96 only came STD or SE versions.

I'll look up if '95 were availiable in LE outside america.

Thanks man, that helps. So i do actually have the SE, but it's the LE that had the 5 lugs.

Is it harder to get wide rims (9.5") for the 4 lugs? And i still don't know the bolt pattern.

You can check to see if you have an alarm/keyless entry if you look underneath the dash of the drivers seat on the left side. You will see a silver box,.. should say something. Anyway I think its near the fuses. peace

I was just reading that article from candiandriver.com and it reads:"Tricking out the engine in this way added 15 hp to the 240 and stretched the redline to 6,900 r.p.m. Transmission choices during those model years included a five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic. "I never seen a 240 with a redline of 6900. Can someone explain?
