I own a 90 240sx that has a salvaged title, the engine looks good and runs great however the body needs work, I'm considering dropping another ka24e when the current engine which has 80k on it. Do you guy think it's worth it to do that?

Keep in mind it will be worth about 1/2 what a comparable car with a clean title is worth.

Also, you can't get comprehensive or collision coverage on it, so keep that in mind - probably not a car you want to put $1000 in body/paint work into.

But if you're just gonna use it as a beater and don't care if it gets totaled or stolen, then go for it!

That all depends on what condition you want to bring it up to and how much cheese its going to require to get there.

Use it to hone your mad drifting skillz and then buy a nice one with a clean title. I just can't see building up a car with a salvage title.
