Is it the Starter , Alternator, battery or fuel related - long Crank to Start Car in Morning

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hi I just got the bg44k, should I mix w/ full tank of gas or half?….

My own mechanic didn’t want to change the starter . ..

He said it also be the Camshaft sensors or crank shaft sensor

+1. Crank more likely than cam.

-1. There's an easy test to distinguish CKP from CMP on most Nissans, which is put a streaming scanner on it while it's acting up and see if it shows steady RPM while cranking. The ECM gets its RPM data exclusively from the crank, so if the RPM reads 0 or jumps around while cranking, the CKP is the culprit. If it reads steady and normal, then a CMP is responsible.

But what is ckp and cmp? K for crank? M for Cam?
