i have a 89 fastback and i want to liven my interior up a bit without having to spend more than like 50 bucks, cant i take out the vinyl inserts on the door and paint them or something, what cheap ways can i do to modify my interior without really buying a replacement part for it..... thanks

Put the money towards your SR swap where it should be.

take the inserts out (if u can) and re-cover them in some sort of material that looks good...or disassemble it and dye it...(a little more ghetto)

if you wanna make it look NICE, $50 isn't gonna do it.it will look cheap, and more than likely look ricey too.

not really...get the color u want in tweed..or if u have leather, use vynil...take the insert out, remove the cloth, staple/glue down the new fabric...reinstall the insert..

if you take out the cloth on the door panels...then it is blank and looks just fine...i don't have any pics of it but there was a whole thread with pics on the other forums i use to post on-
