Hi guys -

I am wanting to change all of the interior light to LED. i think that they look much nicer than the oem ones that are in now. couple questions -

has anyone done this? source/model of bulbs?

can i just directly replace them? is there any modification in terms of making an LED light compatible?

thanks.

I took the original bulbs out of their twist in housings then put a LED in each ones place. However you have to wire up a resistor in series with the LED because the LED runs at about 2.2V instead of 12V. You can find some 12V LED's but I really doubt you will find an orange one in the size you need.

you don't have to do any modifications. there are lots of LEDs out there that will go right in just like any other bulb. i know JDM makes a whole bunch of LEDs and super LEDs in different colors, just do a search on google, i can't remember the site i was at earlier...i was looking into this as well. the trick is getting the right ones.
