Hey guys... I have some massive split duration Ca18det cams up for sale in the next few days... would anyone be interested? Tomei 272/10.25 IN, Tomei 290/10.25 Ex... I know how rare these are.... But yeah... What would be a good price? I was thinking maybe around 500ish delivered??

good condition also... I just upgraded them to a 312/10.3 in & ex

Also I have a ca18det ECU , No speed cut/no rev cut..... offers....

BTW these are basically brand new

Were these ever run in on the motor? Any dyno chart showing what the power band was like with them?

These cams were run on my motor several times but not dyno time so dont know... But You could rev to 9 1/2 rpm with supporting headwork.... I brought them "supposebly new" from a japanese garage... They were old and sitting on the shelf for a long time... Basically though they are mint as.

More Top end cams Somthing like these cams with a garrett or hks gt28 turbo would go nicely ( .64)

All Will be revealed about the 312's once they arrive in my hands tomorrow

I have been told by my engine builder that they are 272 / 290 I will get pics if you want them.

If I had $500, this thread would have ended at my first post.

anyway heres a few pics....

Even better for you guys.... 1 is a 272 10.25 the other is a 312 10.25

noted on intake Cam 272 10.25 noted on ex cam 78 10.25

to work it out for the ex cam -

78x4 = 312deg (Nissan spec = "duration" / 4)10 = 10mm lift25 = centre of valve timing @ 35degs

and heres a few "teaser" pics of my newbies http://serion.web.fc2.com/up_200808/16lars_05.html http://serion.web.fc2.com/up_200808/16lars_07.html http://serion.web.fc2.com/up_200808/16lars_08.html http://serion.web.fc2.com/up_200808/16lars_09.html

just multiply two digit numbers by four to get the three digit duration.

I have serious doubts an 8 port head can flow at those kind of RPMs. CA18 ports are not that substantial. 272s are possibly too big IMO.

solid lifters and a fully balanced crank? Are you ready to throw absolutely all low end out the window, suffer through the ramp up to the stratospheric leading edge of the powerband and cruise at 9000+ RPM? 312s are the kind of cams 10000+RPM full tilt NA motors breathe through. I highly doubt any CA18 can make effective use of cams like that. I look forward to your dyno charts to see what they actually do.
