For an RHD I was going to organize something with the SXOC forum but the mod that is suppose to allow group buys hasnt still responded to me. I created a thread on there but they have a policy against group buys.... so :-/ Im not making anything out of it just trying to help people, but I guess that mod is on vacation or something lol... he hasnt posted in a while. Basically an RHD sample rack is needed from one of the UK guys (convinient since the company is in the UK).

FYI to everyone I've sent the rack lol... but it can take up to 3 weeks to ship with the crappy non-corporate mail service that I've used :-/ They said up to 3 weeks but... i dunno. I do have tracking, it's on its merry way.

Sorry for belated responses... I've been busy enjoying my vacation

Well I got a chance to speak to Jon today, he's a nice British sounding guy haha :D

Anyways the shipping is still on it's way slowly but anyways, he will let me know when he receives it.

The price will be same as the rx7 rack but if all the people are indeed serious there may be a 10% discount.

There will be on top of the standard rack an extended rack for drifting with more angle and in the future 6-12 months there will be a variable rack which is like 4:1 steering but speeds up as you turn, which is kind of weird so... that doesn't yet exist and I'm not sure if people would want that, but yeah.

So basically we'll get a manual 2.4:1 lock to lock CNC'd rack, we can ask for a faster rack but I'm not sure whether to. They made a 1 1/4:1 rack for the ariel atom lol and that was hardcore nervous... so somewhere between 2:1 and 2.4:1 is ideal.

He is suggesting 2.4:1 but I am itching for like 2 or 2.2 or something.. anywho all is well and on track

On JDM S13's manual racks were availible stock. I know someone that has like 10 of em sitting in his storage so I'm good if I want one :D but yea I know a few people that are completely against power steering and might be interested in this.

So anyways for the people that mention RHD racks why not just buy a stock one? ITd be way cheaper...

wha? Never heard of that. Well this is not just a cast/whatever piece, it's a cnc'd performance rack weighing around 7lbs Hopefully the shipment comes soon

this product interests me. i know you said earlier its for steering response but around how much horse power does a power steering pump steal from your engine?

Honestly only one way to find out and that's by dynoing but I reckon 1-5 on a stock KA probably. Who knows maybe its like 10hp lol but i doubt it, never know... I do run 255s up front so we shall see.

I corner balanced the car recently and obviously I need to lose front end weight and the front left corner is the heaviest so losing all that PS pump/etc... would help in that venture as well for me.
