I sold my 240, so if this thing ever actually gets made, somebody can buy mine off of me. What a joke of a group buy. A year and a half, seriously? I wish I never made the deposit, waste of money.

What is going on with this?

I intend to delete the power steering in my track car if this holds up as smooth and nice as said.

Yikes, I havent checked this in a while. But guys, unless this is the approved advertized threads, then its not an authorized group buy from a vendor. I am going to keep this open for the sake of the buyers and seller to comment, but please dont send this guy money.

this started in august of 2009!!
someone should get in touch with atomicrex or whoever that company was and find out if this is legit and being worked on by them or if this is utter crap. i may not be in the parts industry but it doesnt take nearly 2 years to build a manual rack if you are actually attempting to produce it.
i call BS so loudly on this crap its not funny.

yeah i saw that, a while back the site was functional. perhaps theyre doing a makeover for omnline business etc. who knows.
but i still think, if you have good functional part for fd's you should be able to adapt the design ti the s chassis. you already know how to do it, who to produce it, apparently they have specs done up and are ready to produce...like a year ago...
im thinking the company put this on the back burner, or tossed it altogether for the time being.
in any case, old ahmed whoever should start payin up cause this is bs. i didnt pay out for this exact reason. im interested in a manual rack but i aint buyin into this dudes crap, i dont know him from anyone and no one else does either...
dude needs to chime in and explain the hold up, explain whats up with a-rex and the site, and explain where the money of our members is or has gone.

Wow, I'm shocked in the sudden interest.

On that note, does anyone know of any other manufacturers or alternatives to a true manual rack for the s13? or was this supposed to be the first...?

Well, on a good note, I whoised the IPs of the users. ahmed is from CA. AtomicRex (user on NICO) is from the UK, so that at least backs up most of the background story. (This also gets rid of my suspicion that it's the same guy, unless of course, he is using a proxy) Either way, these members that have paid deposits, need to either be refunded or be offered the ability to receive their product.

Any news? My PS pump tried to remove itself during a trip last weekend. It must be a sign.

one of you whos out money should give atomicrex a call and see if they even know about this crap.

if they were or are actually working on this, i doubt theyd mind saying so. and if not maybe theyd like to know someone is an unofficial salesman haha.
also, this thread may be interesting to some here, i guess.

more space, less weight, and a proper PS removal will be much better than just disconnecting the pump, etc

If you're an experienced drifter or road racer, you will already know what you prefer. For the Average Joe's, this mod is not the best idea IMHO.
"if you're experienced you know what you want, and if you're not experienced yet, TOO BAD, because you're an average joe and this is not for you"

Ooooooooooookay then....
