Intercooler piping recommended size?

Hello once again guys. As stated before... doing remote mount turbo on my vg30e truck. Turbo is a T04 .70A/R cold .81A/R hot. Should my intercooler/charge piping be 3" or 2.5"? I want good flow but I dont want to go too big and have lag. Any opinions???

2.5" will be plenty for your power goals and then some.
