Interchangeable parts

Hey guys...

I bought a 96 maxima gxe couple months ago and I just replaced the axle because it snapped....in the process somehow when I was putting everything back together the outer tie rods' thread got messed up and the nut just screws in at the tip and then the whole bolt starts to spin...so while searching for new tie rods I saw that the 95-98 240 uses the same tie rods as the maxima 95-08... So that got me thinking...since I'm planing on updating all my suspension and body work on the maxima...what parts are interchangeable between a maxima and a 240?????

For instance my buddy has a set of lowering springs that he had on his s13...would those fit on my maxima????

I tried searching online but couldn't find what I was looking for....

Does anyone have an answer or can at least guide as to where to find it????

The springs won't work because the Maxima is a heavier car than the s13.
