intake whistle

I just got the black powdercoat Injen intake for my 3.5MT after checkin out the YOUTUBE vids. now i know just about all intakes for our vq are the same but those intakes on youtube WHISTLE!

some probably dont like that but i luv that sound! -so anyway-

i got the injen intake, installed it and NOTHING! no whistle!what gives? how'd those guys get their intakes to make that WHISTLE sound?

Lose few of your screws to see if it will whistle.

The injen on my 6spd whistles from about 6000rpm to the limiter on every gear... everyone from my brother-in-law, cousins, friends swears its sounds as if it's actually spooling up, and it almost sounds as obvious as the gt35r i had in my STi. Im not sure if its something to do with airflow and the ecu closing the throttle plate as it approaches redline. does anyone else experience this?

lately ive been hearing a whistle on my high rpms. almost seems as if it was a supercharger whine.. i'm not sure if its the same whistle your talking about 07wHiTe but i didnt know if something was wrong or if it was just the intake doing its job

I have the Injen on my 2.5 and it doesnt whistle like that but it does sound like its spooling up when i accelerate.. it used to bother me cause i thought something was loose but i checked and rechecked and nothing is loose and i like the sound now...lol

lmfao the whishtle is a turbo simulator on the dudes exhaust, ur intake isnt suppose to make that sound
