Really who has done it and is there any pics ? I was actually thinking of something like that maybe something like the Venom for the B (honda *puke*) engines

Dood that car is the SICK ! I wonder what affect the manifold had on performance, and would like longer runners or design in the plum would make different hp/tq. any ideas ? Or how they came to the dimensions they have there, and does it looke rounded on the side opposite the runners ?

The most cost effective method I think would be to port your current one, although it won't produce as much hp as a short runner manifold but it’s a cheap mod (150-200)

How much you think someone would charge to make something like that ? I would give $3-4-500 maybe you think more ?

For a good quality custom manifold, prolly more like 1G.

WOAH ! geezus i think i can get a guy here to do it for 5-600. If i can get the dimensions off that one or some ball park figures. Im not really worried about runner length but the dimensions of the plenum part. Like what would be effective and all.

I spoke to the company a while back who made that manifold and they quit production because there was not enough demand to continue producing them. They really didn't make them to keep in stock. They only made them when somebody came in and said "Build me one of those".

They said they've built a few of them, but the car in the link is the only one i've seen.

Anyway...the manifolds cost $1500 That's right $1500

thought i would clear that one up.

yeah it looks better than stock, but the one on Kenji's former car is a tapered design vs BYP's cylinder design. As far as looks go, Kenji's former steals the show.

Z-mike's (BYP) manifold is set up for a huge Q45 throttle body....looks like it really flows some air.

Not that getting a larger surge tank won't improve performance, but until your running big boost and have the rest of your engine maxed out, there is really no point. You'll lose alot of low range especially if your only running say 15 psi. Big surge tanks are for big boost. Your also gonna need to increase the size of your IC piping as well. Doesn't make much sense to have a 3'' TB with 2 inch IC pipes. The surge tank that Zmike is using would take me 30 mins to make. It looks like a bottle welded onto the stock runners. Yes it might work, but thats pretty ugly, could have atleast polished up the stock runners.

yes it does look crazy i like the other ones better especially the first one. Im going to running like 30psi so i think it would help but..cost is definitely an issue.

how does that make any sense?Boost is boost, money is money. One doesnt collaborate with the other.

I believe they do. The more boost you want the more $$$ you must be willing to spend

And I think it gets disproportionally expensive, the higher you go.

Nah , just because im going to run 30psi doesnt mean that it justifies a $1500 manifold. I will eventually get one but hopefully i will spend less than that. I am buying all quality at the best possible price.
