Hey im just going to get a cone filter for my car. Just a cheap Blitz intake its like 90$ lol. Now when I order it will the sr20det air filter kit fit on the CA MAFS? I would think so? Since its around the same year so the adaptor should fit should it not?

Just keep the stock airbox and stick a knn air filter in there. It'll be much better

Why don't you call the company you want one from and get a definite answer from them.

Yes.

Now seriously kid, this is an open forum. You have to take the crap with the help. I would not reccomend biting the hands that feed as you never know when you might have a real question that needs answering. And if you want a definite answer: Call the manufacturer.

right now Im running a intake from a KA24 altima....... anything will work with couplers to the turbo and maf+ cone filter. you could use PVC or even just a paper towel roll.........

there isnt much science to it.

Spectre Performance sells an adapter that fits the CA18DET MAF and allows you to mount a universal 3" inlet filter. They should have it at O'Reillys or Autozone... it's the one that says it fits an 88 Pulsar NX SE, and it'll work cause the MAFs for the DETs and DEs are the same. They should have cheapie cone filters too, or K&N if you're feeling fancy. No point in spending $100 or whatever for a JDM brand imo

BTW, i don't think an SR20 filter will fit without modifications. as far as i know ka24e maf = sr20det maf in size. and a single cam maf adapter definitely wont bolt on to a ca18det maf without mods, i've tried.

K&N sells a cone filter that includes the adapter for the CA MAF

http://www.knfilters.com/searc...-0153

http://www.clemmonstrading.com...etail

I got it from Performance Peddler for about $75, but they raised the price

http://www.performancepeddler....-0153

Not the best combo, but it works for my application and the adapter (plastic) fits the MAF. Btw, remember the Euro 200sx is the S13 with factory CA18DET, so you dont go wondering about the 200sx reference.

Hope this helps.
