I have anything 2009 Cube that I plan to install a pair of Hella FF75 driving lights. These are thin 55W halogen pencil beams to be used auxiliary high beams and will come on only with the high beams.

The lights are about 2" high by 6" long and will fit nicely within the air intake in the center of the front "bumper" panel. This front panel assembly seems to be easily removed if need be. Behind this front panel is a square tubular metal bumper which I can attach (bolt or weld) a pair of brackets to attach the lights to. I've not worked on this body construction before, but this idea seems workable to me.

Let's try to attach a couple of images.

Might be kinda cool - they certainly fit the image.

I think the lamps fitted inside that air intake will be workable.

One alternative might be a pair of 4" x 5" lamps fitted into that "grill panel" between the headlights. There is just barely enough space to fit a pair of thin lamps.

Plenty of time to figure it out by late Spring.
