i want to put 370cc injectors with a hacked mafs. will this set up work with stock timming. My boost is set for 6psi right now. I want to boost it to 8psi. If i do this will I still need my fmu?

Stock timing...NO.

Stock ECU with the base timing retarded a little...YES.

Retard .5 degres for every PSI...so at 8psi, set the base to 16. I still feel that detonation is looming if I punch the gas at 3500-4000 (right near the torque peak, high cylinder pressure)...but watch out for that, and dyno it to make sure the A/F is good.

I'd use NO BIGGER than 2.75" ID piping to ensure the fuel is OK.

I'm the only guy who's dyno'd, and mine looked OK, but lean through the midrange, particularly by 4000rpm, where it's likely to detonate.

And ditch the FMU.
