I know that this has been posted a lot, and I've search for it and I also saw a little bit of talk in the CA18 FAQ post, but I still want to find out all my options for my CA18. I've heard you can use stock RB20DET injectors, and I've heard some talk about using SR injectors, or DSM injectors, or even some RX7 injectors. Now could you use aftermarket injectors for an RB20 on a CA18? Or does anybody make aftermarket injectors for the CA? Also does it require any modding to put these injectors in?

Most top feed MSD style low impedance injectors work. DSM, RB, RX7.... SR are side feed, so those wont work.

RB20 injectors are smaller then CA18s.. i think you meant to say RB26.

But as c-rad said, anything top feed low impedance is the way to go.

you know the stock maf maxes out before the stock injectors right? just making sure you're doing things in the right order... Also you'd better have a sufficiently man-sized turbo to run 550's

And if you are looking at RX-7 injectors, make sure that you get the right ones. Series 4 (1986-1988) were low impedence, and can be used on the CA18. The Series 5 (1989-1991) were high impedence and cannot be used. You would optimally want a full set of either 4 primary (460cc) or 4 secondary (550cc) injectors. Remember: the 13BT uses 2 primary and 2 secondary injectors, so don't think that you will get all 4 injectors from one car.

Also, remember to get a set of 4 CA18 injector o-rings!!!!

Yea, I know it maxes out, I'm just running 10psi on my stock turbo and it maxed the hell out of my CA maf, so i'm using a KA24E maf but even that is getting close to maxing out, I'm picking up a Q45 90mm MAF and an S15 bbT28 soon, and I've already got an HKS adjustable wastegate actuator, so I figure that 12-14lbs of boost with some 440cc or 555cc injectors will get it done. Well than and a front mount, I just need piping for it though. Thanks everyone.

Q45 MAF sucks... get a 300ZX one. The Q45 is too big and people have a nightmare tuning with it because it is inaccurate.

I am using rx-7 550cc inejctors 1991, and yes you can use them but you need to illiminate your dropping resistor pack. I drove on them for a bit before I actually removed the resistor packs and they drove fine.

Also, yes, rx-7 do have only 2 primary injectors per engine, so if you order them make sure you mention that you need 4 as I ordered mine from some rx-7 store and they sent me two, they I figured that rx7 uses two, so I had to order two more.
