The 3.0l has a bore x stroke millimeters 93.0 x 73.3

The 3.5l has a bore x stroke millimeters 95.5 x 81.4

Not sure if this helps. You would need to know the depth of the cylinders, and would have to bore out the 3.0l block 2mm, which is a lot.

You wouldn't need to bore anything out if you kept the 3.0 pistons but used 3.5 rods and crank with them (which is what he's talking about).

I know people have gone the other way (VQ30 crank and rods in a VQ35), so I don't see why you couldn't do this.

Instead of making this engine a stroker. (which can be a pain)I would just swap her out.
