Info on external auto-dimming morrors

Anyone knows why Nissan doesn't sell the auto-dimming external mirrors?
We bought ours with the inside auto-dimming mirror and honestly the external ones are needed as well.

Probably since most, if not all vehicles in that segment, aren't sold with it.

The only brand in this segment with auto-dimming external mirrors is Subaru. I don't think any other major brands offer it as an option even (Toyota, Honda, Ford, etc.). It'd be nice though but maybe everyone is saving it for the late decade models as features trickle down to the base brands.
