As far as BMW over a JEEP. The thread was about performance of a BMW vs G35.

Then why did you bring up the Jeep SRT-8?

A. Flat out performance numbers, The Jeep is 1,000lbs heavier than both these cars and Kills them, except for the twisties, where the BMW would have the advantage. Not the Inifinti.

The Jeep is also a very uncomfortable vehicle (Yes, I have driven one). I've also driven the '07 G35 sedan and found it to have a great ride and much more room. BMW > G35 as far as handling depends on who does the road test as I have seen some which state the G is better. Now, a more appropriate test (IMO) would be the G37 coupe vs. the BMW coupe later this year.

C. Jeep is rare, only 3000 produced in 2006. Unlike the Infiniti or the BMW

So? I has not necessarily helped the resale value as the >$40k list 2006 Jeep SRT8 is only worth $30k (per kbb, so take it with a grain of salt). That's a big drop in a year.
