The SCCA folks are going to accomodate our group for the June meet. I am setting it up currently and will post a thread with all the details when they are ironed out. We will be running against each other, as I have said previously. Still working on Saturday too! w00t!

We'd love to have you there! I will be posting more details as they are available. There WILL be an auto-x on Sunday. That part is as for sure as it gets.

Are you coming to the meet on Sunday in Louisville?

Ok, once again i dont' know if i am going to go. my parents said i can only go on one condition, and that is if they go too. they would follow me up and everything. since i have no experience in a big city and long distance driving they would follow me and everything. if i autox, they would watch, if i drive to the store, they would follow i'm sure, etc etc. this sucks. i don't know if i even want to go now, just because of that. i want to go really bad and see everyone and stuff, but, not with them on my arse the whole time. : : sighs : : what to do what to do :(

Ben, your parents are some of the coolest parents I have ever seen. Nonetheless, I'll get my dad to go along and maybe he and your dad can hang out so he'll not be on your arse the whole time.

andy, good idea. my mom and dad can just go find their own thing to do damit. lol. kev, auto-x is a road course, usually short, that you go fast on. :) you test your cars handling and speed capabilities basically. alot of times they are set up in a huge parking lot with orange cones marking the course. i've never done it but it looks like a lot of fun! hopefully my 5spd will be in by then and it *might* be broken in. if it is, i might auto-x. i might not, who knows.

Repo- Since this will be a 2-day event, we're probably going to be getting hotel rooms or something right? My friend told me that you have to be 18 to get a hotel room, and I won't be 18 until October. Whats the dilly?-Kev

There will be accomodations. If you and your friends are not able to book a room, we will find another way. Cold_Zero and I will put members up if that's what we need to do. Not to worry, you will have a place to stay!

Well guys, it looks like I am not going to able to make it after all. If I were to come, I absolutely could not be there on Sunday for the auto-x, but I would have just come up for a few hours on Saturday, but then would have to turn around and head right back to Louisville. Also, with me racing in Charlotte, NC this coming weekend, the LouisvilleStreets.com Ultimate Street Car Challenge the weekend after this meet and then trying to save for my vacation in August, my budget will not allow allow any more fun for me right now. Everyone have a good time and be sure to take lots of pictures!

What's the Lousiville Streets Ultimate Street Car Challenge and when?

Same as SCC's but for Louisville cars only?

It's a combination drag racing and auto-x competition. It is the last weekend in June. I think the drag racing will be Friday night at Ohio valley Dragway (1/8 mile). A meet on Saturday and then auto-x at Fort Knox Sunday.

I'm confused is it the 21st or 22nd and where is everyone going to meet and what hotel is everyone staying at? On saturday what time do you you have to register for the autocross? Nick

Yes it the 22nd is the NICO autocross, the "meat" of the meet so to speak. And we figure many folks will hang outthe night before. So many will meet saturday night and "meet" then.

Nick,

I am researching motels currently and will reserve a block of rooms so everyone can stay at the same place. It was a hoot during the March meet in BG. Fred missed it due to work, but we'll tell you about it when you come to this meet.

Saturday night is gonna be fun!
