for just 700 bucks id buy a really good set of tires for stock rims.. u might be able to go to a 255 instead of 245 in the back over stock. Thats what im doin, altho i have another set of rims for show that i just bought and i might use those for track eventually.... but falken Rt 615 is what a buddy of mine uses for track and he loves em... says they are great in wet and dry.... and they are good for the price....... just dont go NITTO.. i hated my old set... i felt like i was driving a boat when i was in wet with those things...

If you scuff those Volks I will personally drive up and backhand you ..........then take your wheels and call it a day.

OP a G member AutoX his G ALOT, so much so he melted the Zinc coating off his calipers. He seems to love the Kumho V710 he has on his track wheels.

as for track "wheels" and "tires" the falken 615's are a great street legal tire with fantastic grip at the track but the trade off is they get hot and slick, but for the price you won't get more lateral traction, I bought a set of 17x8 and 17/9 Zigans with 615's new form tires.com shiped for about $1400, lightweight wheels, sticky tires, you'd be hard pressed for find a better deal, unless you got a deal on some used track model wheels

If you stop driving everything with wheels I have a couple of retired race horces they just just eat grass and sleep standing up. you can use them to get around.

Go back to school, learn how to speak and write the english language, then get a better job so you can actually make money and can afford to participate in the sport in which you are inquiring!
