I am trying to figure out how good of an investment a throttle body spacer and intake manifold spacer would be. I know each will probably give a couple hp gains at most, but will there be any advantage in gas mileage? how hard are these to install? the only place i could find that has anything available for the '07's was a company called Power Rev Racing, P2R, and all they had was a tbs for some people who did a group buy. anyone know anything about them or any other company that produces spacers? i don't even know where to start, thanks.

TBS and IMS will net a few hp but gas milage and HP gain after mods are typically inversely proportionate. i can think of any mods that net gains of HP AND MPG. it all depends on your driving habits.

Intake and exhaust increase hp and mpg. I don't see why these spacers wouldn't do the same, given that driving habits won't change.

Honestly though, the more mods I have, the more I want to put them to use, and the less likely I am to drive efficiently. I suspect everyone else has the same problem.

see thats what i mean. unless your gonna drive like a grandma with those mods, you don't gain any MPG.

If you drive it like you stole it your MPG goes down the tube as you add on mods.

mpg's isn't my biggest concern, or else i would probably be upset as everyone else who bought spec v's expecting 30 mpg and are actually getting around 18-20. my first concern is power/efficiency increases. both tbs and ims are relatively cheap mods at under $100 a piece, but why can't i find them anywhere? not just for my car, i realized its new so the aftermarket is $hit right now, but what are some good places to find these or at least start my search?

hard to tell because as you said, this car is still fairly new. im sure as time goes on the aftermarket stuff will trickle in. Keep in mind even the last gen Sentra's aftermarket support wasnt very wide.

Even some cars take around 5 years to have a HUGE aftermarket.
