Try craigslist of the classified section of NICO. I wish the NE region section was more lively, but the fact is, it is not =(

hey 240sx owner, my roomate just bought a 240 and the tranny seal doesn't hold out too well...and it's leaking fluid now, how much do u think the shop would charge to reseal it/ or new gasket?

or is it ok for temporary, buy some sealant from auto stores and apply it to stop the leaks temporarily ?

let me know guys? Thanks in advanced.

email me at [email protected]

thanks for helping.

I wouldnt put any of that stuff that you pour into seal it up, because it gunks up the trans. Not sure how much the seal would cost but it would definitely be better to replace the seal.

+1 for Rockville Starbucks.

I'm there sometimes on the Ruckus, and I'll be coming on the Miata once it's put together. If you guys are going to head out one night, email me. I can guarantee you that I won't be regularly checking this thread.

I live in Gaithersburg, so close enough to RockVegas.

I approve of OP's Avatar.

^^I would like to come, but I have to wake up hella early on Saturday.

Besides, I'd be coming on the Ruckus, and I think it's supposed to rain on Friday.

^^Nah, turned out it was a POS. I've been saving for a SR*. I should be getting it in 2 weeks, hopefully. Wanna come help? I'll pay for your gas and some extra cash this time. I want to do it before it gets cold. =/

*I'm getting everything stock with it so it'll be a easy swap. Stock radiator, smic, hoses, fan shroud, etc. No aftermarket stuff. All I need to buy is a downpipe and maybe a boost gauge.

Get a CA instead... SR's are made of popsicle sticks and glue compared to a CA.

I'll help if you want, I dont need gas or whatever. Save your cash for your car =) You have my email addy, hit me up anytime you need some assistance and if I'm free I'll help you out.

I guess we all need to see how crappy SR's are first hand. I made the same mistake when I was younger, hell I still have that car but it's sitting on cinderblocks on the other side of the country because I hate dealing with it's issues.

Very well, SR it is. Hit me up when you wanna do the install.

Well, I want to start something in Columbia, but there are very little people in Columbia, that i know of, besides for you and I.Since school has started I think it would be best to wait it out for a while so people get used to their schedules and then we shall make a meet happen! -Arash

I'm down whenever. I've been trying to find something to do these last few weeks. We should just set one up and see what kind of response we get.

I heard people went to Chipotle right there by d!ck on rt 175, but then again, that wasn't a 240 meet. It was for anyone.
