so i was asked an interesting question today about my upcoming swap and although i already know what i want to do i was curious what others would think and why...

Are we talking ease of swap? Aftermarket support? Cost? All of the above?I'm thinking vg30dett over a vh because I think there's more aftermarket for the VG. If there's one thing the J30 doesn't need, it's less aftermarket.

im just asking personal opinion...definately more aftermarket is great however the VH weighs 600lbs less than the VG...plus IMO the VH boosted either supercharged or twin turbo'd(i know 3 people here in houston doing that swap)would scream...

i have done the 300zx tt swap (automatic), i would recomend it although it's not a direct swap......

however, i would love to see a VH swap done, that would simply be amaizing. you would need to turbo that bad boy, and it would really be a monster........
